Shanti Devi Welfare Foundation, a non-governmental organization working for the welfare of underprivileged girls, organized a fun-filled outing for their girls under the Project Vidya. The foundation took these girls on an exciting trip to an amusement park where they were able to enjoy various adventure activities, watch a puppet show and enjoy Rajasthani folk dance. Not only that, but the girls were also able to spot a peacock and enjoy various rides in the park.
The girls under Project Vidya are girls from economically challenged backgrounds who often struggle to receive proper education and opportunities in life. The outing to the amusement park was one such effort by the foundation to provide these girls with a chance to experience something they might not have otherwise been able to.
The girls were overjoyed to be able to go to the amusement park. They had never been to such a place before and were excited to try out the various rides and activities. The NGO volunteers were supportive and patient, making sure that the girls felt comfortable and had a great time.
The adventure activities such as zip-lining, rock climbing, and bungee jumping were a hit among the girls. They screamed with excitement as they zoomed down the zip-line or climbed up the wall. The puppet show was a new experience for them, and they enjoyed the storytelling and the colorful puppets. The Rajasthani folk dance was also a treat for them, and they clapped and danced along with the performers.
The highlight of the trip was when the girls spotted a peacock wandering around the park. They were fascinated by the bird’s beauty and were thrilled to see it up close. They took pictures of the peacock and marveled at its vibrant feathers.
Overall, the outing to the amusement park was a memorable experience for the girls under Project Vidya. They had a chance to forget their daily struggles and enjoy a day full of fun and adventure. It was heartwarming to see the smiles on their faces and the joy in their eyes.
